Your Child Probably Won’t Become a Famous Singer…

Your child probably won’t become a famous singer.

I know that sounds harsh… but it’s true.

Just like I had to come to terms with the fact that my son is probably not making it to the NBA and my daughter, right now, is a little too shy to be on a big stage.

I know, I know… you just never know what could happen.

And you’re right.

But if we’re being honest, the odds are slim.

And yet…

I still take my son to basketball practice every week.
Even though he’s not Stephen Curry.

Why?

Because something deeper is happening.

It’s the same reason you bring your child to music lessons.

Not for fame.
Not for perfection.
Not even to master the craft.

But for what’s happening beneath the surface.

Because music does something to a child.

It teaches them how to focus when things are hard, express what they don’t have words for, build confidence, little by little, take risks and try again.

It gives them discipline without pressure
creativity without limits
a voice even when they’re still finding it

So if your child wants to play the tuba… let them.

If they want to bang on drums (loudly 😅)… let them.

If they want to sing, even if they’re off key right now… let them.

Let them dream.

Let them try.

Let them explore something that could shape who they become—even if it never becomes what they do.

Because even if they never step on a big stage…

They will have gained confidence, mentorship, creativity, discipline and joy.

And that matters more than any spotlight ever could.

And honestly?

Sometimes the goal isn’t to raise a star.

It’s to raise a whole, confident, expressive human being.

If your child has been curious about music, I’d love to give them a chance to try.

No pressure. No expectations.

Just an opportunity to explore.

Message me. I’m that invested in your child’s growth.
